A sketch for a new assignment, which has to do with a very elusive mammal...I kind of want to keep it black & white.

Alright, when last I made those comments, that top completed piece definitely wasn't a part of this post...hmm....maybe my computer was wonky. In any case, I like it! It has a nice atmosphere to it and a good range of values. I really like the implied musculature of the creature in the background, and I'm glad it looks more mysterious than a goat. The only thing I would say was that I wish there was a little more detail in the foreground. The silhouettes framing the clearing are really nice, but there's nothing really interesting going on where those roots are... all in all, nice job. :)
